UTAS-Shinas Students and Faculty Join Hands in Mangrove Plantation Campaign
The Department of Business Administration, at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences-Shinas, took an active role in the “Campaign to Plant 50 Thousand Mangrove Trees in Khor Shinas”. The event, a collaborative effort between the Environment Authority, Oman, and OQ, Sohar, witnessed a robust participation from the UTAS-Shinas community.A total of 23 students spanning disciplines from Business, IT, and Engineering, along with seven esteemed lecturers from the Department of Business Administration, dedicated their time and efforts to contribute to this green initiative.Dr. Vimal Kumar Agarwal, spearheading the Community and Alumni committee at UTAS-Shinas, facilitated the event, ensuring its smooth execution and emphasizing the university's commitment to environmental sustainability.This significant participation underscores UTAS-Shinas's dedication to fostering a culture of environmental consciousness among its students and faculty, ensuring a greener and more sustainable future for the region.
