As part of the focus on academic paths and the professional future of university students, and in service to the local community, Training and Career Guidance Center represented by Career Guidance Department , at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences -Shinas, organized “The 1st Specializations Exhibition”. The exhibition lasted for two days, from February 27th to 28th, 2024, and targeted approximately

4,000 male and female students from various majors and levels at the university, in addition to secondary schools in the Provinces of Liwa and Shinas, from the tenth to twelfth grades.

The exhibition was inaugurated under the patronage of Dr. Moza Al Shihhi, Deputy Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024, at 9:30 am, in the presence of heads of academic and administrative departments at the university.

The exhibition included 12 corners, in which the Engineering and Technology Club, the Computer Science and Information Club, the Economics and Business Administration Club, and the English Language Club at the Preparatory Studies Center participated. The Admission and Registration Center and the Khutwa platform also participated and added value to the exhibition.

Visitors expressed their satisfaction and admiration for the new ideas presented to them in an exciting and thrilling manner, and praised the level of organization and arrangement of the exhibition.

As part of creating a spirit of competition among the clubs to present their best, the opinion of the exhibition visitors was surveyed, and the visitors voted for the most exciting and thrilling corners. The Computer Science and Information Club received the largest number of votes.

The exhibition concluded with a simple closing ceremony, where the participants were honored, and the club with the highest percentage of votes was announced as the winner. They were

honored with the exhibition shield and training opportunities provided by On -the Job Training Department at the forefront of work.
