Staff Professional Development Committee organized a seminar entitled (Welcome Exergy, many thanks Energy), on Thursday, June 12th, 2014 at the Chemistry Laboratory.

The presenter was Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Salim Al-Washahi from Mechanical Engineering Section.

The Seminar started at. 12:30 PM with a welcoming and introductory speech by Dr. Yassir Osman (SPDC-Engineering coordinator).

Dr. Al-Washahi started the seminar with the definition of Exergy and its necessities. Then he compared Energy and Exergy using some examples at the end of which there was a beneficial discussion between audience and the speaker. The audience highly appreciated this valuable seminar.
