The Community Engagement Committee of the Engineering Department recently organized an Awareness Session for Engineering OJT (On-the-Job Training) Students at UTAS-Shinas on 16th February 2023, from 9 am to 10 am. The session was led by Mr. Ali Al Reesi, Technician of the Electrical section in the Engineering Department at UTAS-Shinas. 

A total of 80 OJT students from UTAS-Shinas attended the workshop along with 4 staff members. The session provided students with a basic understanding of various aspects of OJT, including: 

1. Maximizing the benefits of the on-the-job training period. 

2. Identifying positive outcomes of on-the-job training. 

3. Overcoming difficulties faced during the training period. 

4. Applying the knowledge gained during training in real-time applications. 

The workshop aimed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to make the most of their OJT experience and succeed in their professional development.
