Shinas College of Technology, Engineering Department organized a Short Term Training Program for four days starting from 05/01/2015 to 08/01/2015 at 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 12:00 Noon to 02:00 PM in B110 Auto CAD Lab.

The resource persons were Mr. Robert George, Mr. G. Raja, Mr. Manikandan & Mr. Sastry K.A; assisted by Mr. Tanveer Ahmad, Mr. Mohammed Mathenulla & Ms. Devibala from the Engineering Department who handled the training program. It is significant to inform you that there were eleven participants from four different industrial organizations who attended the training program.

The program focused on getting familiarized with the basic operations related to 2D & 3D drawings in Auto CAD and becoming acquainted with 3D commands like Extrusion, Sweep, Revolve etc., for creating 3D models. Modification operations like Union, Subtract, Intersection, Slice, etc, were practiced. The participants worked on 3D models like Bolt & Nut, Flange Coupling, Union Joint & Screw Jack. At the end of the program, participants were very happy with the way in which the training program took place and they appreciated the effort& facilities made available by the college.
