ShCT Engineering Department Presents Technical Papers in STDC 2014
Mr. Arun S. Gopinath from Electrical Engineering section & Mr. N. Sreenivasa Babu from Mechanical Engineering section jointly presented a paper entitled "Prediction of Excess Air Requirement Using Artificial Neural Network for the Improvement of Boiler Efficiency" and Dr. C. Subramanian from Mechanical Engineering section presented a paper entitled "Effect of Fiber Length on the Short Term Flexural Creep Behavior of Polypropylene" in the "SYMPOSIUM ON SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY & DEVELOPMENT (STDC 2014)" organized by the Engineering Department of Al Musanna College of Technology on April 21st , 2014.
The keynote address of the symposium was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al-Naamany, Dean of Modern College of Business & Science. A technical presentation about Sustainable Energy Equipments was given by Mr. Michel Enkelmann, Area Manager, Middle East & Africa, Guntt Germany.
The symposium shed light on areas like Microwave Radiation, Optimization of Hybrid Renewable Energy, Artificial Intelligence Concepts for Sustainability, Trans-Esterification, Exergy Analysis and Sustainable Materials. The symposium also discussed how sustainable developments could be initiated for the growth of society and national development.
