A seminar on "How to write and Publish a Peer Reviewed Research Journal Article in Engineering and Science" was held in Multipurpose Hall, Engineering Department building on 27th February 2014 for the faculty members of Engineering Department. This seminar was organized by the Staff Professional Development Committee of the Engineering Department. The overall objective of this seminar was to focus the faculty members in research-oriented methodology of teaching. Dr. C. Subramanian, the presenter, shared his experiences of publishing his articles in international journals. He explained in detail the procedure involved in the selection of appropriate journals, structural framework of articles, literary style of writing to be adopted, time frame management, common terminologies, review and publication process. The seminar concluded with an open forum, in which Dr. C. Subramanian answered questions and other faculty members shared their experiences.
