A Seminar on Applications of 3Ds max in Academics was organized by the Staff Support Services Committee of the Engineering Department last 9 May 2013 at Shinas College of Technology. The seminar was arranged as a part of staff professional development activities of the department. Mr. Mohammed Hakkim, lecturer in Civil Engineering Section, demonstrated the techniques of transferring the complicated logics and definitions in engineering to a simple animation using the Autodesk 3Ds Max software. This mechanism facilitates the lecturers to explain complex concepts more effectively in the classroom and more importantly to the students to understand without any difficulties. The seminar was attended by the Head of Engineering Department Dr. Mahmoud Khazalah, Heads of Sections, lecturers and technicians of the Engineering Department.
