Shinas College of Technology, Engineering Department has organized a short term training Program on 05/01/2015 at 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 12:00 Noon to 02:00 PM in B123 Hall.

The presenter was Dr.Mohammed Abdullah Salim Al-Washahi, HOD from the Engineering Department and seven participants from three different organizations attended the training program sessions.

The program focused on getting familiarized with the performance assessment of the combined cycle overall as well as for the individual components, getting familiarized with the performance assessment of MSF desalination overall and for the individual components, performance estimation of the co-generation plant, estimation of the desalination unit product cost and introducing exergy concept as a new indicator for performance evaluation.
