The Engineering Department, in collaboration with the OJT department of the college arranged a field visit to Oman Solar Systems, Muscat, on November 24, 2015.

Having undertaken course projects in the field of Solar Photovoltaic Systems, eight bachelor level students in electrical power engineering participated in the visit.

Project supervisors Mr. B. Kalyan Kumar and Mr. S. Mishra accompanied the students on this industrial visit and expressed gratitude to OSS General Manager Mr. Raman Kumar for his kind cooperation in facilitating the visit.

With the industrial visit, students were exposed to the design and assembly of solar PV systems.

The visit aimed to give a professional touch and application-oriented approach to the projects students are doing.
