A total of 13 students from Advanced Diploma (Mechanical) accompanied by Mr T.Raja and Mr .Lenin Anselm, Mechanical Section lecturers, Engineering Department (ED), visited Al Samna Metal Manufacturing & Trading Company LLC, Sohar Industrial Estate, on February 8, 2018.

Mr. Muhammad Khalid Site In charge, explained about safety measures in the factory and Explained about the complete process. He further informed the students about various products and processes like rectangular and square steel pipes, fabrications of huge columns and structures, different types of welding processes and sand blasting processes.

The students also visited live operating mechanisms of various automated machines and heavy duty cranes.
