The Office of the Assistant Dean for Administration and Finance spearheaded the first SPDC College Wide meeting on May, 15, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon which was attended by the committee members from all departments and centers of the College. The newly formulated committee headed by the Asst. Dean Ali Mahmood Al Bulushi grasped the momentum of establishing a college wide effort to ascertain Staff Professional Development into the right perspective. SPDC duties and responsibilities, the good practices observed in each department, department-wise SPDC action plans, and other related significant points were tackled in the three (3) hour meeting. The SPDC Committee members who participated in the brainstorming include: Ms. Laila Al Mamari ( HR ) , Mr. Christodoss Prasanna (IT) , Dr. Yassir Osman ( Enginnering), Mr. Joshy John ( Business ) , Mr. Elmo Purpura ( ELC ) and Mr. Sidney Souribio ( ETC).
