Ms. Gogula Radha Rani (Lecturer-Engineering Department), an academic from Shinas College of Technology, presented her technical paper entitled “A sustainable hybrid/ off grid power generation systems suitable for a remote coastal area in Oman” at the 8th IEEE GCC Conference & Exhibition hosted at Sultan Qaboos University on February 1-4, 2015.

This conference was preceded by a series of other IEEE GCC conferences that rotates among the GCC countries. This conference is a forum for professional engineers, scientists and academicians engaged in research and development to convene and present scholarly work and applications in the industry. A total of thirty-one countries from Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, and North America participated in 8th IEEE GCC Conference & Exhibition.
