The Oman Qualification Framework (OQF) team of Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA) visited the Engineering Department (ED), on March 10, 2019.

ED Head Dr. Ahmed Al Balushi, Quality Assurance (QA) Head Ms.  Maryam Al Aufi, QA and Listing Panel members Mr. Mahesh Aphale, Mr. Arun Gopinath, Mr. Muralikrishna Boddu, and Dr. Lenin Anselm welcomed the visitors.

Spearheaded by OQF Senior Consultants, Ms. Margaret Cameron and Ms. Ruth Joy, and OAAA QA officer Mr. Muatasim Hamood Al Amri, the visit aimed at evaluating ED’s assessment criteria for the various outcomes of Electrical Engineering courses, and providing feedback for the conducted assessment.

Ms. Cameron also explained the need for qualification framework in Oman and OQF’s various processes included in the listing process to ShCT faculty and staff.
