The Engineering Department, in coordination with the On Job Training Department of Shinas College of Technology, organized an industrial visit to Wadi Jizzi Power Company on 19^th Feb 2015.

Wadi AL Jizzi Power Co. SAOC (WJPCO) is a 100% government owned entity owning, operating and maintaining the plant located at Wadi Jizzi.

Students could directly see this gas power plant in action, right from its ignition stage to the final power generation. Two engineers, Mr. Natarajan and Mr. Ibrahim, guided us through the various process cycles involved in power generation. The visit was very useful, and students expressed their full satisfaction.
