The Business Studies Department at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences Shinas hosted an online guest lecture titled “Taxation System in Oman”. The event was organized by the Community Engagement Committee. The resource speaker, Mr. Omar Al-Washahi, tax inspector in Taxation Authority in Oman. gave an overview about different categories of taxes available in the Sultanate of Oman. The event was facilitated by Ms Amel Radouch and Dr. Vimal Kumar Community and Alumni committee’ members and Business Studies lecturers.  The event was attended by Bachelor students with accounting specialization.
