The Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) of Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) spearheaded the Strategic Plan (SP) review meeting at the ShCT conference room on April 25, 2016.

The SP meeting session was attended by QA Coordinators, Head of the Departments/Centers (HoD/HoC), Head of the Sections (HoSs),  and the QA members of the different departments and centers of the college.

Ms. Fawziya Al Jabri, Human Resource Department Head and QAU administrative member, discussed the review process and mechanism of the Operational Plan (OP) and Strategic Plan (SP)

Meanwhile, Mr. Dhanasekaran Neelakantan , QAU Administrative member and Business Department lecturer discussed the SP Goals and Sub-Goals mapping with OAAA – ISA Standards.

ELC QA Coordinator  Mr. Elmo Purpura, ETC QA Coordinator Mr. Sidney Souribio, I.T. QA Coordinator Dr. Lemuel Nalugon, QA Engineering Coordinator  Dr. Gogula Radha Rani,  and Business Department QA Coordinator Dr. Shanmuga Pria presented their OP achievements (areas fully achieved, areas partially achieved, and areas not met) and a list of recommendations for SP revision.

Dr. Syed Sulaiman Hussaini, QA Administrative member and Engineering Department lecturer discussed the Self-Assessment report based on the recently submitted SAR with major areas needing improvement in the coming years.

Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Ali Mahmood Al Balushi shared opinions and some suggestions with regard to the presentations.
