A total of twelve IT students made it through to the Huawei ICT National Competition, out of the 200+ who registered for the preliminary stage. The competition took place on 21st November 2022 at UTAS-Muscat. The students were given training by UTAS-Shinas lecturers namely Ms. Salama in Data Communications, Mr. Nagoor Meeran in Security, Dr. R. Madhubala in Cloud Computing, Dr. Saleem Raja in Artificial, Ms. Sujatha Krishna and Dr. Rajesh Natarajan in Big Data. After the training, the students attended the exam. The students now await the regional-final result of the competition.
