Community Awareness Workshop for Electrical Safety Basics
The Community Engagement Committee facilitated an awareness workshop titled “Electrical Safety Basics” on 27th March 2022, at Sohar High School for boys. Mr Qutaiba Mazin Al Sameraiee from the Engineering Department discussed the various electrical hazards in various sectors, and looked at preventive practices, including the use of electrical safety devices.
The workshop was attended by 107 students enrolled in the twelfth, eleventh, and tenth grades during three-session continuously. As a token of appreciation, the headmaster Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Nofli awarded the speaker with a certificate and memorial shield.
