Under the initiative of the Industry Engagement Committee of the Business Studies Department an industrial visit to Modern Concrete Products (MCP) was organized for students who are studying the subject ‘Total Quality Management'. The students became familiar on how quality was integrated in plant operations of MCP and the company’s ISO 9001:2015 certification.The students also observed the actual production process by going through the steps and oriented the actual quality control process undertaken by the company to ensure quality of the products that are delivered to their institutional and individual customers. The students were very satisfied with the industry visit, which allowed them to gain practical application of theories and became familiar with the related technology used. Dr. Cirilo E. Mirano, Jr. and Mr. Reynald A. Funtinilla, lecturers from the Business Studies Department accompanied the students on the industrial trip on Wednesday, 22^nd June 2022.
