In pursuit of student training development and awareness, the On the Job Training Department (OJTD) launched its Industrial Awareness Program last Monday, November 12, 2012 at 10 AM at the Main Building. The honorable guest, Mr. Faisal Al Balushi, Director of Contracts and Projects, Sohar Industrial Port Co. SAOG, delivered a presentation about the company such as relevant issues on company output and target, development, employment and so on. The speaker also answered some queries and clarifications from the audience. The event, which was held at the Multi-purpose Hall, was attended by more than 250 students. The OJTD staff members were stationed at the college reception for inquiries and suggestions. They also distributed flyers and publications to participants. The company video was also shown on the plasma screen. Mr. Ali Al Harthy, Asst. Dean for Administration and Finance, also graced the occasion by giving recognition to the speaker.
