ETC Conducts SPDT to Business Department
ETC supports the programs for Staff Professional Development Training (SPDT) of the College. Ms. Amina Al-Jabri and Ms. Marilou B. Paderes conducted training to all Business staff on March 05, 2012 at the Computer Laboratory 4 regarding “E-Learning and E-brary Usage.”
Ms. Amina Al-Jabri explained four important points in E-learning which are as follows: Managing Teacher’s account, Adding Courses and Enrolling students to the course, Uploading Course Materials and Creating Online Quizzes.
Ms. Marilou B. Paderes showed a video regarding the E-brary. The video explains the meaning of E-brary, how to access it and the categories of the online resources. After the video, she further explained the new features of Ebrary to download e-book and its limitation. She added some techniques in copying, adding notation and adding books to Bookshelf.
The training lasted for more than an hour that comprised the question and answer for the E-Learning and E-brary.
The training was initiated by the Business Staff Professional Development Committee headed by Ms. Juvy Vergara and the leadership of Ms. Moza Al-Shihi their HOD.
