IT Department conducts training-workshop on Java Programming using BlueJ IDE
The IT Department conducted a four-day training-workshop on “JAVA Programming using BlueJ IDE” from September 1-6, 2015 at the Computer Laboratory Room 6. Mr. Mohan Narayana Murthy served as the resource speaker. He discussed the basic concepts on Object-Oriented Programming. He also demonstrated a hands-on experience on how create, compile, and run Java programs using BlueJ. He shared how to use class, object and method to construct Java program. He discussed the concepts of inheritance, abstraction, encapsulation, polymorphism, typing, etc. He also presented how to handle exceptions in Java programs.
OOP and other IT lecturers attended the said training-workshop. The training-workshop aimed to hone the knowledge and skills of lecturers in object-oriented programming. It was intended also to orient them on how to use the BlueJ as IDE.
