ShCT Launches Staff Portal
ShCT launched the Staff Portal in the eServices section of the college website on December 16, 2012. The program was presided over by the College Dean, Dr. Ali Al-Mughairi. Other eminent personalities in attendance were the Assistant Dean of Admin and Finance Mr. Ali Al-Harthy, Heads of the academic departments, Dr. Mahmoud Khazala, Mr. Gharib Al-Matroushi, Ms. Moza Al-Shibli, Head of Admin, Mr. Yousuf Al-Belushi, IT Head of Section, Ms. Aysha Al-Jabri, CSS Head of Section and supervisor of Web development team, Ms. Amina, Web development programmer, Mr. Anthony Madlambayan and other college staff.
During the launch, Mr. Anthony Madlambayan along with Ms. Amina Al-Jabri conducted a hands-on workshop on how to use the Staff Portal specifically in filing a service request to the Administration department, and how they would respond to the request. The participants were very enthusiastic in trying the automated system online and looked forward to using the system in future. Mr. Ali Al-Harthy expressed his gratitude to Mr. Anthony, Ms. Amina, Ms. Aysha and to Mr. Gharib for their overall support in making this project a reality. Mr. Al-Harthy explicitly stated that as a College of Technology, we had reached that point in time where we started modifying our processes and procedures in a way that would be more accessible to all stakeholders and fully supported the promotion of paperless campaign.
