On July 06, 2014 the Educational Technology Center’s Computer Services Section held a tutorial for the ShCT Staff on Windows 8 operating system, at the ShCT Multipurpose Lab from 10:00 AM. to 12:00 PM.

This workshop, the first of the Windows 8 training modules planned to be carried out for ShCT staff, was conducted by Mr. Amado Diao, Mr. Gary Olfindo, Mr. Ronaldo Abaya and Mr. Franklin Riego. This pilot session was attended by the College Dean, Administration Staff and Academic Staff from the various departments. Windows 8.1 features such as one drive, search features, start-up and desktop menus, management of files and folders and Windows 8 applications were discussed during the workshop.

The ETC-SPDC Committee is planning to have similar workshops during the next academic year.
