The Educational Technology Center staff members, Ms. Marilou Paderes and Mr. Frederick Manuel Camay have conducted a 2-day Ebrary Orientation in Technical Writing class of Mr. Hamdan Al-Abri of the English Language Center on October 13-14, 2012 at the E-Library and Open Laboratory. Mr. Hamdan initiative to conduct orientation provides his students knowledge and awareness in using the Online Library offered by the college. Ms. Marilou explained the Ebrary interface and how it works inside and outside the college. Mr. Hamdan further explained the different ways to navigate the Ebrary. During the orientation, students were able to copy, print and download some books. Furthermore, they explored other functionalities of the Ebrary. It can be recalled from the previous reports we received that Shinas College of Technology ranks number 1 in viewing pages in the E-brary site. This proves that the resources given to our college are utilized effectively. ETC continues to implement its programs in disseminating and training students and staff in using the technical services of the college.
