The Windows 8 workshop was provided to students last January 27, 215; 12:00-2 PM at Cisco Laboratory as part of the joint student development program of ETC and SA.

The two hour workshop was piloted as the part of ETC Student Development Plan that aims to impart technical skills to students that will enable them with proper management of the Windows 8 operating system.

Mr. Ajith Kuriakose and Mr. Bhuvanesh Joythi, two of ETC staff, tackled the basic of Windows 8.1 features such as One-drive, search features, start-up and desktop menus, management of files and folders and other Windows 8 applications. The lecturers also talked about the installation and set-up of the Windows 8 operating system. This session was attended by students from different departments of the college.

This is the commencement of the partnership between ETC and students activities in providing workshops that focus on student’s development of ShCT.
