A workshop on the Basics of Research was conducted for ETC Staff at the ShCT Open Laboratory on January 15, 2015 at 9:00-10:30AM.

The one and a half hour workshop was steered as the initial part of Research Training that will be provided to the ETC Staff. The Basics of Research is one area of the ETC Development Plan that was under organizational development.

Dr. Desai Karanam Giri, of ELC, ignited the interest of the ETC Staff on the different types and parts of research, specifically on how to start a research activity. It is certain that technical research and development entails a creative mind that works by following a distinct order. As technical people, this scientific procedure aims to increase knowledge and use of this knowledge to devise new applications/procedures that underpin Educational Development.

This workshop was attended by all staff of the three different sections of ETC; the Educational Services Section, the Computer Services Section, and the Library Section.
