Dr. Nithyanandan Mavila, English Language Center (ELC) lecturer, presented various student-oriented activities during the Classroom: A Language Laboratory workshop held at the VIP Lounge from Feb. 9 to 13, 2014. Dr. Mavila underscored that the ambiance we create during the first day of our class is the most crucial one. A seasoned educator with almost a three-decade experience, Dr. Mavila showed to the participants many programs and gadgets which English lecturers may use to limit teacher-talk in their classes. He also emailed the participants a list of useful websites related to English language teaching.
