In a focused initiative to enhance student advising processes, faculty members from the Preparatory Studies Center attended a training session on 7th November 2023, titled "How to Create Your Student Advising Booking Page" The session, held at the E-Library, catered specifically to post-foundation lecturers and level coordinators. 

Led by the experienced facilitator, Mr. Ossama M. Sayed, the training aimed to underscore the pivotal role of efficient appointment scheduling and its impact on streamlining the student advising experience. The overarching goal was to equip faculty members with practical skills to leverage Microsoft Bookings for improved communication between educators and students. The training provided a comprehensive overview by Mr. Sayed, emphasizing the importance of effective time management and the potential of an online booking system to enhance the overall educational experience. The focus was on the practical aspects of setting up a student advising booking page, where participants were guided through creating personalized appointment schedules, managing availability, and customizing booking preferences. 

Mr. Ossama showcased various features of the Microsoft Bookings platform, including automated reminders, calendar integration, and the flexibility for students to reschedule or cancel appointments. The goal was to demonstrate how these functionalities contribute to a more adaptable and convenient advising system. Active participation was encouraged, with attendees engaging in hands-on activities to create their advising booking pages under Mr. Sayed's guidance. This interactive approach allowed faculty members to build confidence in utilizing the software, enabling them to address specific queries and concerns related to their teaching roles.
