Mr. Waleed Mandour, English Language Center (ELC) lecturer, presented ‘Powtoon’ at Multi-Purpose Hall, Engineering Building, on 29 January 2015.

‘Powtoon’ is an online presentation software tool that allows you to create animated presentations by manipulating pre-created objects, imported images, provided music and user created voice-overs.

The presentation provided an opportunity for ELC lecturers to update themselves with an innovation used in English Language Teaching (ELT).

Said presentation materialized through the joint effort of Staff Support Committee (SSC) Coordinator, Mr. Saif Salim Al Washahi and Staff Professional Development Team (SPDT) Leader, Mr. Senthil Kumar.
