Twenty one (21) English Language Center (ELC) lecturers participated in Tony Waterman’s presentation entitled “Keeping it real, Keeping it relevant” held at Muscat College, Boushar, on January 22, 2015.

Sponsored by ELT Professional Network (ELTPN) British Council, the session covered the importance of keeping it relevant to satisfy institutional requirement, fulfill learner needs and to use learning time more effectively in class. Keeping it real to make learning more meaningful, to help learners connect learning to the outside world and to show learners that English is important to them.
