Mr. Nasser Al Hindasi, English Language Center (ELC) lecturer, conducted a workshop on "How to optimize students productivity by cutting down TTT (Teacher Talking Time) in the EFL Classroom." The event was held at the V.I.P. Lounge on April 9, 2014 at 12:30-2:30 PM for Level 3 & 4 lecturers and 9:30-11:3- AM on April 13, 2014 for Level 1 & 2 lecturers. The workshop encouraged the staff to utilize student-centered activities; to improve the teachers methodology in maximizing teaching time for student active participation; and to create and foster a dynamic classroom atmosphere. The initiative is part of a series of professional development activities jointly organized by the Staff Professional Development Committee (SPDC) and Staff Support Committee led Mr. Elmo Purpura and Mr. Vinayakam Ariyaputhiran, respectively.
