The Staff Support Committee of the English Language Center conducted an end-of year gathering at A- 214 on December 22, 2015.

ShCT Dean Dr. Ali Al Mughairi, ELC HOC Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Balushi and HOSs Mr. Said Al Abri and Dr. Flora Bassey graced the event with their presence.

Mr. Ali Al Balushi welcomed the ELC staff and expressed gratitude to Mr. Ahmed and Mr. Rana for their excellent performance of their tasks as ELC lecturers. He also congratulated Mr. Nasser Al Hindasi, who recently obtained his Master’s Degree in English Language Teaching from England.

During the gathering, the ELC staff bade farewell to Academic Support Committee Chair Mr. Ahmed Mahran and Post Foundation Coordinator Mr. Rana Aslam.

Mr. Mahran is going to pursue further studies; whereas, Mr. Rana will transfer to Salalah College of Technology, another technical college under the Ministry of Manpower.

ELC lecturers Mr. Kartikeyan Chokalingam and Mr. Shijan Joseph expressed some words of gratitude to Mr. Ahmed and Mr. Rana.

Moreover, the SSC also facilitated some friendly games to promote camaraderie among the ELC faculty.

SSC spearheaded this ELC Gathering, which was hosted by Mr. Hamed Al Qasmi.
