A workshop on Research Processes was conducted on 29/01/2014 at E-225 by Dr. Suneel Kumar, Business Studies Lecturer in Shinas College of Technology. The main objective of the Research Workshop was to empower students into becoming better researchers. The research workshop was crafted for students who are enrolled in Senior Project and Graduation Project. It aimed at providing the students with the basics for conducting research in the correct manner. It explored in detail every step to be undertaken when doing a research, beginning with the formulation of a research question to the culmination: the actual writing and submission of the research paper. Overall, the workshop aimed at improving the knowledge of the business students about the research process while providing them with opportunities to start work on their own projects. During the workshop, the students were asked to formulate their own research topic and questions corresponding to their specialization and interests. The work shop was attended by 10 lecturers from HR and Accounting Sections and 38 students.
