1.Dealing with work stress workshop The workshop was conducted by Ms. Khadija Ahmed Al Issaei, Business Studies Lecturer last 21 May 2013 at the Business Studies Department in Shinas College of Technology. This workshop aimed to explore the ways on how to relieve work stress from employees with some practicable solutions. The workshop focused on three main areas: the concept of work stress and its definition, the factors and causes of work stress and the applicable solutions that can be used or implemented to reduce work stress effects. The workshop was attended by 24 employees from different departments in Al Batinah North, Directorate of Social Development. 2.Audit Approaches In Governments Ministries in Oman The workshop was conducted by Ms. Aziza Al Qamshoui, Business Studies Lecturer at Business Studies Department in Shinas College of Technology. The workshop conducted by Ms. Aziza Al Qamshoui, Business Studies Lecturer last Wednesday, 22 May 2013. The workshop was about Audit Approaches in Government Ministries in Oman. The workshop covered the topic on how to do both Preventive Audit and Detective Audit in institutions. The tools used to conduct the workshop were:

Civil Law in Oman The number of participants was 18 from the Ministry of Social Development. 3.Preparing formal letters, reports and correspondence The workshop was presented by Dr. Mamoun Abdul Aziz, Business Department lecturer and was attended by 24 employees from the Directorate of Social Development, Batinah Region. He explained how to write reports and defined its importance in the field of various functions. The workshop also covered topics like how to write official correspondence, the minutes of the meeting and its uses. This was followed by the explanation of the elements of each skill required and the practical training on how to write each point. The session was graced by a visit of Dr. Ali Al Mughairi, College Dean and the Director-General of the Directorate of Social Development of Al Batinah North Region.
