Seventy entrepreneurship students from the three departments:I.T., Engineering and the Business Studies Department (BSD) participated in a mini workshop on November 3, 2015 in the Multi Purpose Hall. It was dubbed as “The Big Mini Workshop”. The Head of Section of Marketing, Dr. Joef Ines conducted the session.The activity was intended to train the students registered for the entrepreneurship course to help them prepare their business plan. During the mini workshop, the students were provided with a working knowledge and guidlines on how to generate business ideas. The speaker referred to sectors where there is a huge potential and opportunity in Oman for students to create their own business ideas

The HOD of Business Studies, Ms. Moza Al Shihi, provided her valuable inputs to the students during the mini workshop. The activity was initiated by Mr. Narsaiah Lakkavatri- Marketing section coordinator of entrepreneurship, and Mr. Ahmed Al Sadi who is in charge of Student Support Activity . Further, it was facilitated by Mr. Francisco, Mr. Prasad, Mr. Reynald, Mr. Wilson and Dr. Girish all lecturers in the BSD.
