‘Powerful Presentation Tips’ shared
On November 19, 2015, Dr. Joseph Dayag of the English Language Center shared his knowledge and experience in making great presentations through a workshop held at the Multi-Purpose Hall.
Sharing some tips on giving presentations, the resource speaker elucidated the rudiments of preparing a ‘Powerful PowerPoint’ that serves as a presenter’s cue.
The speaker emphasized that success in presentations largely depends on preparation and practice, particularly on voice modulation, posture, eye contact, gesture, facial expression and use of visual aids.
During the workshop, Dr. Dayag engaged the participants in critiquing presentations given by select TED Talk speakers shown in a series of videos.
Organized by the SPDC of the Business Studies Department, this professional development session was attended by BSD lecturers.
