BTech studs win 3rd Place in Oman IoT Olympics 2018
Four Bachelor in Information Technology students won 3rd place (bronze medal) in Oman IoT Olympics 2018 under the domain "Environment" and Area "Smart City" competition conducted by Higher Colleges of Technology in Muscat, Oman, on May 10, 2018.
The winning team were comprised of Murwa Salim Juma Al-Maraika, Halima Mater Ali Al-Hamdani, Amna Ali Mohammed Al-Farsi and Shafa Abdullah Sulaiman Al-Maqbali.
There were 3 levels in the competition namely Creathon, Packathon and Hackathon. Points in each level were sum up to declare the winners.
3rd placers were awarded with bronze medals, Certificates for each participant, and 200 OMR cash prize.
