ITS Club visits Al-Wafaa Center in celebration of National Day
The Information Technology Students’ (ITS) Club headed by its president Fatma Al-Jabri, together with the Media Group, English Language Group and the Sawaat Al-Khair Group, visited Al-Wafaá Center for children with health disabilities in celebration of Oman’s 47th National Day in Shinas on November 16, 2017.
Al-Wafaa Center Supervisor Ms. Khawla Al-Zaabi, together with the staff, welcomed the visiting team which is composed of 29 students.
IT lecturer Mr. Gregory Danguilan accompanied the group, which conducted various games and distributed toys, foods and gifts.
The highlight of the activity was the giving of scarves and flags.
Meanwhile, the children entertained the guests as they rendered a song and recited poems for His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said.
Al-Wafaa Center Director Mr. Said Al-Maqbali expressed his gratitude to the visiting team as he witnessed the cooperation and unity of the children during the event.
The visit is part of ITS Club’s community service program.
