Keeping in mind the Career and Training Fair proposed to be held on 19th and 20th of May in Shinas College of Technology, the Information Technology Department held a seminar on May 14 and 15 to orient its students on how to prepare a comprehensive resume and how to face a job interview.The activities held at the Open Laboratory and VIP Room respectively, included a seminar on tips for job interview and resume preparation, and a mock job interview. Seminars on tips for interview and resume preparation were conducted by Dr. Lemuel Nalugon and Mr. Edgardo Dalan Jr., IT Lecturers. These seminars were participated by exiting Diploma and Advanced Diploma students. The participants were able to gain insights on how to build good rapport and self-confidence, and moreover they were given tips on how to prepare marketable resumes. On the 2nd day of the activity, IT Lecturers conducted mock job interviews for the students who had attended the previous days seminar. The interviewer gave constructive feedbacks to the students about their performance at the end of the interview.
