Aligned to the center’s mission, “to provide excellent service to all”; ETC ESS conducted training on Photoshop/Lightroom and Adobe Illustrator on January 13, 2015 12-2PM and on February 3, 2014 12-2PM respectively. The trainings were both conducted by Mr. Joel Palad (ETC-ESS staff).

The Photoshop/Lightroom that was conducted in Cisco Laboratory was introduced to the Academic and Administrative staff of the college. The workshop aimed to impart knowledge on the use of the lightroom in editing photos like a pro and organizing it. Among the topics that were discussed in the said training are: importing and exporting photos straight from an DSLR camera, adding filters, controlling lights, adding watermarks and many other features.

Adobe Illustrator was conducted in Lab 5 and was the first of the two sessions to be conducted for the Academic and Administrative Staff from different departments. Mr. Palad discussed the basic tools as well as explored the entire GUI of Illustrator. Other topics discussed were: exploring different tools of the  toolbox, creating and resizing the artboard, saving and exporting the files in different formats. The speakers also discussed the differences of Adobe Illustrator from Photoshop.

These trainings were under the projection plan of the ETC-ESS in providing training and workshops to all staff, depicting the commitment of ETC (ESS,CSS and LS) to provide a “Service You Can Trust,” to all its stakeholders and interested parties.
