ETC conducted several development programs for both staff and students during the first month of Academic Year 2014-2015.

The student’s development program included orientation on ETC Services for new-intakes at both Foundation and Post Foundation levels, Installation and Deployment of IP Phones to the IT Course Project and e-learning.

The staff development program includes, ActivBoard, Staff Portal and College e-mail for new Academic Lecturers, IP Phone training to IT staff and e-learning.

ETC also arranged for collaborative training and a workshop among its staff, who are assigned in Computer Laboratories and Workshops. Several topics were discussed including the importance of using forms, documentation, policies and procedures. Staff also shared computer troubleshooting techniques and best practices with one another. Practical demonstrations were also performed by each of the staff.

Apart from sharing its technical knowledge and skills, ETC will continue to provide necessary development programs that will help maximize the utilization of technology and educational resources of the college.
