Committed to provide a “Service You Can Trust,” ETC has conducted 3 different training classes on October 21, 2014 at 12:00 until 2:00 in the afternoon.

In Multipurpose Laboratory, Mr. Gary Olfindo, Mr. Amado Diao Jr., and Mr. Ronaldo Abaya trained the staff on Windows 8, covering its new features in a very interactive manner, where participants could attempt the steps at the same time using their own workstations, while the trainers were demonstrating on the Activboard.

In Laboratory 5, Mr. Sidney Souribio trained the students in eLearning. There were 24 students attending the training with major participation from Business with 20 participants, and 4 participants from Engineering. Mr. Sidney discussed the basic functionalities of eLearning including familiarization of menus, accessing the subjects/courses/activities as well as submitting assignments online.

In Laboartory 3A, Mr. Melvin Belarmino trained 9 IT students, who are currently enrolled in the Course Project on Windows Server 2012 platform. This training aimed at providing support to students in accomplishing their Course Projects and will run for 4 weeks, every Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00.

The ETC Staff Professional Development Committee grabs every possible opportunity to share its technical skills and knowledge to all its stakeholders. The ETC ,with the leadership of Mr. Ahmed Al-Saidi, always strive to provide a better service to the college in all its areas of support.
