The SPDC of Department of Business Studies organized a workshop on “Teaching Strategies for Student Centered Learning” on October 16, 2014, in the Multi-Purpose Hall, from 12.00 Noon to 2:00 PM. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Jangaiah Paladi, HoS of Accounting Section from Department of Business Studies. It was the second of a series of four such workshops.

In this session the participants have also actively taken part in the guided exercises throughout the session. It gave insights into the working of the human brain, the reasons for forgetfulness, the memory model, the learning pyramid and learning preferences of individuals, and their implications for teaching.
