The Staff Professional Development Committee (SPDC) of the Department of Business Studies organized a workshop on “Teaching Strategies for Student Centered Learning” on October 30, 2014 in the Multi-Purpose Hall, from 12.00 to 2:00 PM. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Jangaiah Paladi, HoS of the Accounting Section from the Department of Business Studies. It was the last of a series of four such workshops.

The presenter dealt with the elements and principles of cooperative learning with an emphasis on the preparation needed for the same. The presenter conducted an activity using a ‘Jigsaw Strategy’, wherein the participants took active part and appreciated the strategy.
