IT Staff Attend Workshop on OneNote
The staff of the Information Technology (IT) Department participated in a workshop on OneNote and Class Notebook at Room A-217 last May 3, 2016.
IT lecturer Mr. Prasanna Ranjith Christodoss facilitated the workshop aimed to orient the IT staff on how to effectively utilize OneNote and Class Notebook applications as part of Office 365.
In the workshop, the facilitator discussed the essentials of the two applications through hands-on activities and demonstrations. He cited that OneNote can be used for the administration of the course as it allows a lecturer to add or remove sections and students.
Mr. Prasanna also taught the participants how to use Class Notebook to share course content, hand-outs, quizzes and other course-related materials. He said that the course coordinators, lecturers and students will benefit from the said applications, particularly in terms of course content sharing and class collaboration.
Starting this summer semester, IT staff will pilot the utilization of these two applications.
The workshop is part of the training program organized by the IT SPDC Committee.
