To encourage the IT faculty members to engage in and undertake research activities, the Research Committee of the Information Technology Department conducted a one-day research orientation at Room A-140 on April 20, 2016. 

In the morning session, Mr. Prasanna Ranjith Christodoss, IT Lecturer, shared his experience and journey as a researcher. He also discussed how to select a ‘good’ research topic.

In the afternoon session, Dr. Sudhakar Kumar Chaubey, Mathematics Lecturer, facilitated the discussion on how to write a research proposal. He also explained the parts of a research proposal.

Mr. Thanigaivel Ganesan, Networking Lecturer, shared his knowledge on how to publish in International Journals and Apps, and what the web resources are in conducting research.

Moreover, Networking lecturer Dr. Lemuel Nalugon demonstrated how his research papers are published in journals. He also shared his experience as a researcher.

Ms. Shija Gangadharan, Mathematics Lecturer, facilitated the open forum and discussion.
