Carrying on with the blazing trail of success of the TechTalk series, the IT Department organized yet another talk last Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Computer Laboratory 5. Mr. Thilak Kumar, IT Lecturer, served as the resource speaker and spoke on the topic What we can do with Adobe Flash. In his presentation, he highlighted the use of Adobe Flash in web page designing, creating animations or videos, advertisements, and interactive multimedia. With his deep knowledge and skills in multimedia, Mr. Thilak shared techniques on how to animate objects such as shapes and texts, perform tweening, masking, inserting keyframe, dynamic flash, etc. He gave examples of animations such as the moving ball, transformation, morphing, shape following a path, car game, running horse, masked text, animated lecture, etc. Mr. Bala, SPDC Coordinator for the Department, asked the resource speaker about the pre-defined libraries in Flash. At the conclusion of the illumining response, he gave a message of thanks to the resource speaker. Mr. Prasanna, IT QA Coordinator, handed over the certificate of appreciation.
