The IT Department of UTAS-Shinas recently conducted a community workshop titled “Basics on Inkscape Program” workshop from 12th June to 14th June 2023. The workshop was held on campus in Lab A-138 and was aimed at providing community members and school students with a practical understanding of various design using Inkscape Program. Led by Mr. Talal Humaid Al-Qurri, from the Information Technology Section, the workshop covered a range of topics, including the designing logos, cartoon graphics, geometric shapes, clip image and path effects. The workshop was highly interactive, with 26 participants attending. Upon completion of the workshop, participants were awarded certificates for participating.
